  • Day 1 - Departure from Norway, and the trip goes to Peru.

    Welcome to Lima You will be met by one of our representatives at the airport that will escort you to the hotel. This trip will take about 40 minutes, we urge you to use this time to ask our representative any questions about your upcoming trip.The rest of the day is free, and you may choose to spend it however you’d like.

  • Day 2 - We travel to Cusco.

    Today’s destination is Cusco! We organize the transport from your hotel to the airport. The flight to Cusco will take approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes. You’ll meet with your guide at the airport, and join them on a private transport to the Urubamba Valley, this will be another 1 hour and 30 minutes long trip.

  • Day 3 - Urubamba Valley, Inca Sacred Valley.B,L

    Today the main event is an excursion to the Urubamba Valley. First we will visit the town of Pisac. The town is known for its beautiful market where you will be able to buy every common peruvian keepsake like a wool sweater or a beautiful necklace. The beauty of this town lies in the details of the stone work. This town is built with smaller stones than you’ll find in Sacsayhuaman, but the precision used to carve out and place the rocks is unbelievable. Another feature of this town are the views you’ll experience while exploring. We will take a lunch break, and after it continues our trip to Ollantaymbo, another charming village in the centre of the valley. This village is a living historical site, the villagers have kept the traditional lifestyle of their forefathers. Exploring this village is like stepping into a live museum, here you’ll see original temples and inca forts. Overnight stay in Urubamba Valley.Our adventure will continue with an early morning the next day, so be sure to get a good night's sleep!

  • Day 4 - Train to Machu Picchu (Accommodation in Aguas Callientes).B,L

    Today the trip will take us to Machu Picchu, starting with a train ride to Machu Picchu 104KM. There are two options for this trip. Our first option is to travel from 140KM by train to our start point. There we will begin our trip by foot to the village Aguas Calientes. This is part of the original Inca path. This path is about 14KM long, but its terrain will make it so we use the rest of the day hiking. The other option for those that might find it challenging to hike such a distance and terrain we’ll arrange a train to take you straight to the Aguas Calientes village.

  • Day 5 - Trip up to MachuPichu with a tour guide inside Machu Picchu.B

    Today’s excursion will be an immersive tour of Machu Picchu. We’ll have our own tour guide that will show us around, this guided tour will take around two hours and will take us sightseeing around the highlights of Machu Picchu. This afternoon we’ll take the train back to Ollantaytambo from Aguas Calientes. From there we’ll travel back to Cusco with private transport. Overnight stay in Cusco.

  • Day 6 - Cusco, starting with Koricancha, also called Sun Temple.B, L

    Today will be filled with sightseeing around Cusco. We’ll focus on the ruins and remains of the Inca tradition. This evening you’ll have some free time to sightsee or just relax on your own. Overnight stay in Cusco.

  • Day 7 - Flight from Cusco to Puerto Maldonado (jungle).B, L, D

    Today we’ll shift gears and travel to explore the peruvian jungle! We’ll fly out from Cusco to Puerto Maldonado where we’ll have a short trip to a boat that will transport us down the Madre Dios river. This boat ride will take two hours, and will end up by the river in charming lodges where we’ll stay overnight. These lodges are simple, but charming, and have a private bathroom in each lodge. After lunch, we’ll have an excursion to an island filled with exciting opportunities to come up close and personal with the wildlife in the peruvian jungle! This island is known for its habitants, there are several different species of monkeys living here. Rest of the day will be spent on an adventure through the jungle, and exploring its wildlife.

  • Day 8 - Paddle through a beautiful swamp area where we will see many different animals.B, L, D

    Today we’ll start the day by paddling downstream, where there will be opportunities to sightsee even more magical wildlife by the riverbank. Today’s main event is a 5KM hike through the jungle, where we’ll learn about the local flora, especially the plants that are used to create medicine, and some of the plants that are edible. Overnight stay at the lodges.

  • Day 9 - Flight from Puerto Maldonado to Cusco.B

    Today will be a relaxing day that you can use to unwind before we continue on our adventure! We’ll take a flight back from Puerto Maldonado to Cusco. When we arrive in Cusco you’ll have the rest of the day to do with as you wish. Overnight stay in Cusco.

  • Day 10 - We travel from Cusco to Puno, we admire the beauty of the Andes.B, L

    Today we’ll travel from Cusco to Puno. Day 10 will be mostly spent on transport, but fear not! This nine hour bus drive will be filled with excitement and sightseeing! On board we’ll have a guide that will talk us through the sights we’ll see from the bus. After a stop for lunch, we’ll continue our drive, but we’ll stop ever so often to explore some tourist sights along the way. Overnight stay in Puno.

  • Day 11 - Full day trip out to Lake Titicaca.B, L

    Today's excursion will be to some of the islands located on the Titicaca sea. The first island we’ll visit is Urus, from where we’ll travel to the island Taquile. This island is known for it’s village that resides at the top of the island. This island is filled with local culture, tekstiles and oral tradition. This is another spot in Peru where it feels like you’ve stepped into a bubble that perfectly preserved the history and culture from hundreds of years ago. We’ll enjoy a wonderful lunch on this island with a view over the Titicaca sea. After this we’ll begin our trip back to Puno, where we’ll stay overnight.

  • Day 12 - Fly to Lima, visit museum in Lima.B

    Today is the last full day in Peru. We’ll be transported from Puno to the airport in Juliaca, where we’ll fly from to Lima. We have arranged transport from the airport to the hotel in Lima. The rest of the day is free. We suggest that you check out the museum in Lima while you’re here.

  • Day 13 - Transport to the airport.B
